There are bad injector and worn injectors. When you say bad I think of an injector that has internally broken, is clogged or stuck open. A worn or slightly dirty injector doesn't spray at an optimal pattern or the pop pressure is slightly off.
For a broken injector. 1. The engine may knock. 2. Massive of amount of air in the fuel system. 3. After the engine warms up you may notice excessive smoke and the engine low on power. 4. At medium to high RPM's you may get a puff of black smoke and the engine is low on power. TimK

I think the best thing to do, would be to remove and test. You're looking for pressure and spray pattern. Any authorized Bosch shop can do it, or some folks have made a home built deal. Don't know specs.
