It's the one thing I'm really really good at on these cars...
Mostly because the PO (my older brother) would just kind of notice that the door locks werent working, that he couldnt stop the car unless he locked the doors first, and that the center vents had no air. He never fixed them, and half the vacuum system was trash when I started fixing it up... that was fun.

The symptoms in this thread explain my issue almost exactly.
Except that when I test the power going to the monovalve there is no current. I've used two different testers to be sure. I also ran a 12v current to the monovalve and managed to get ac blowing through the two vents near the windows but none through the center vents. Now before I start tearing things apart, considering the power to the monovalve not existing, is there anything else I should look at or know? Side note: I need to replace the vacuum control on the ignition and the door locks. Those are bad, I do have the parts for them. |
