Oooh, I want that. Of course if I put that in my car it would go from powdercoated to oil coated in about 2 1/2 minutes.

Why did you post this? Now I'm extremely tempted to put a serious bid on that!

With my luck it would just be a scratch magnet.

Put masking tape over it while working near it.

AH-HA! I knew there was a catch!

Core Charge:
Note: this auction is for the valve cover as shown above. The valve cover is already powder coated, in stock, and ready for immediate shipment. This auction is not for a powder coating service, where the customer is forced to send in their own cover and be without a running car for several weeks. Because we are supplying one of our valve covers rather than forcing the customer to send in their own cover, there is a mandatory core charge deposit covering the value of the physical valve cover. You must add the deposit during the payment checkout process. Should you forget or choose not to pay the core charge, the partial payment will not be refunded and the cover will not ship out. The core deposit is not negotiable.

The core charge deposit for this auction is $ 65
. If you have never heard of a core charge deposit or are simply unfamiliar with the process, there are two links directly below. First, click the overview button to read about the process, then follow up by clicking the policy button.
This is a good example of why one should always read the fine print.
