Those Mercedes calendar pics are awesome. My favorite is the "art in progress" S-class.
Personally, I don't see any need for "extra" chrome on a Mercedes. They already have more than most cars out there! Gigantic grille, bumpers/bumper trim, side trim, window trim, door handles, trunk badges, and the hood star--you can't go wrong there.

Besides that chrome SL i think no car in this forum has more chrome than my W116. I does have wheel arches, door trim, center cap and chrome wheel ring(on a funny note the bundt cakes rims are powder coated black!), furthermore, the winshield wipers, the roof trim, window trim (normally anodized aluminum) have been shine polished. Besides the car is black on black so the already OE chrome on the car is double flashy...
Yet everybody that has ever seen that car has complimented it and even offer to buy it!!!! It look like a mafia car/pimp whatever yet i actually like it. But thinking about it it does look nice because the car is black... not me.
