AC Problem
AC works fine most of time. Every now and then the tach needle drops back to 0 (usually after a automatic transmission shift under fairly hard acceleration), when this happens the AC quits blowing cold air. You can pull over and shut the engine off...wait a few minutes and restart and it usually begins working again. Any ideas?
Sorry about that...1985 300 DT

Need year and model. Some newer ones rely on the input from the tach. A zero RPM signal will shut down some a/c systems and the 0 RPM indicates engine shutdown.
