300sld terrible blue/gray smoke on cold start up
smokey cold start only ,very shakey cold, not going down on oil , no blow by , did glow plugs , is there a cold start advance [sujested by a non merc deisel tech.] what about fuel injector leakdown. tks

Air in the system? Hydraulic lifter leaking down after the engine sits for a while?

thanks for pointing out the model to trigger finger , the sdl puts out a smoke screen in the morning till warm 1 - 2 min. clears up and does not reocure unless it sits for more than a few hours , injector leak down ?? i dont know what else......
