I need to find a source for the OM617 head gasket for a 79 300SD. It took me about 1 hour to pull the head and found the 2,3,4 cylinders were all leaking into each other. The job was not as hard as some had made it seem. I left most of the items attached to the head and just unbolted the exhaust,t stat housing , injector lines and a few other things. The timing gear was the hardes part to keep it from falling.
