E300 Bolt size?

A 99 E300 question - Does anyone know the size of the bolt that comes up from underneath to hold the intercooler pipe to the EGR? My whole manifold removal project went great until I lost this bolt, and it is so awkward to get to, I am really not able to try different sizes. Thanks for any help.

Also, relatedly, can I drive the car for a day or two without this bolt in place? The pipe and egr seem pretty tight together, but I don’t want to damage anything and am a bit ignorant in this area.

Thanks for any help
George

Dont know your bolt size...am guessing it is a M6 or M8?

If you are worried about driving it tie it together with a big zip tie. Should hold for at least a week. IIRC there are other brakcets taking some of the intercooler pipe weight (which is not great).

*edit* link wasnt working last night....looks like it is an M6 bolt. Not certain of its length; is either 16 or 20.
