I'm very sorry you don't agree with me but you are flat out wrong. Maybe we should attempt to approach the debate from another angle. How many Mercedes diesels have you seen had their engines destroyed because of excessive oil change intervals? I have been around these diesel since 1989 and have never heard of one diesel engine lost in this manner. I've heard of many that were lost to overheating due to cooling system failures, but never because of an oil issue. You're trying to solve the wrong problem by changing the oil. You should be changing your hoses and thermostat so you don't have the cooling system fail. Forget the oil. 240Joe |
