Air Intake Hose 300D
For retrofit purposes, can anyone tell me the inside diameter of the air intake hose (scoop to filter housing) for a 300D Turbo?

2 17/32 inches. I measured the out side of the air cleaner.

Mine measures about 2-11/16 inches (82 300D) at the connection.

This is good news! What this means is that the $70 hose that came on just one year of the 280E (1977) can be replaced by two 300D hoses for $60 less. Thank you both for taking the time to take measurements.
