Wanna know what a valve adj CAN do for you?
I did a valve adjustment a few months ago, and noted a good performance increase. Every valve was tight.
Fast foward to last week, when I noticed a power decrease, that I attributed to clogging filters. That car was still able to cruise at 70 to 75, just took a longer to get there. This weekend, I found the hard line was broken off at the banjo bolt on the ALDA. I replced the line, and full power was restored. Last time the hardline was snapped in the middle (my own fault again), and this was before the valve adj. The car had a really hard time reaching and maintaining 60 mph. For those who are new and do not understand why a valve adjustment is needed, here is another reason why, besides the potential mechanical damage if it is not done.
