Rough Idol
My newly rebuilt G350DT motor seems to be idoling about 100 to 150 RPMs low. It is just enough that you can tell it needs a splidge more. The fuel pump is new, rebuild. Ideas on what approach best to take.

Is there a way to adjust idle speed on these sorts of things? I've got a 240D that would like to be about 100 RPM higher idle (so I can use the AC while parked :p )

I would imagine the 350 would have a idle stop and a max linkage stop on the ip. Check the action of the linkage on the IP and it should be fairly evident where both of those are. Who rebuilt the pump? If it was setup properly on a bench I can't imagine it would have problems.

Does the G350D have mechanical fuel injection or is it electronically controlled? The mechanical IPs so far as I've seen do have upper and lower limit adjustments.
Seems like it wouldn't be too hard to retrofit a manual idle control cable from a 240D to a newer model, other than cutting a hole for it in the dash. All it does is interface with the mechanical throttle linkage to keep the accelerator pushed down slightly. Now, if its a rough idol you're trying to get rid of, maybe a bobble-head Elvis for the dashboard would be better? But A G350 sounds like too sweet of a vehicle to add such accessories too. I'd love to see pictures of your car.
