getting my 240D back on the road...
hello, i have had my 240D in my driveway for the past 5 or 6 months. i know i need to replace the fuel lines and clean out the tank, but what else should i watch for? the thing hasn't even been turned on in all this time, so i really don't know what to expect. what parts may need attention?

just setting for 5-6 mos shouldn't be a problem, charge up the battery and try and start it then go from there.

If it had good fuel in it when it was parked, that length of time shouldn't hurt the fuel, if it had been sitting somewhere else before your driveway for a long time, then you might need to check it out. I'd just give it a quick looksee under the hood, make sure your hoses havent dried out and fluids are still up, and like Steve said, charge it and fire it up, watch for any leaks, check out your tires and you're good to go.
