Well, I asked my dad to pick up some transmission fluid for me. I told him what to get but he comes home with Valvoline Dexron III/Mercon. He says NAPA looked my car up and says it is perfectly fine to run this in the Benz. Now, I won't run this long term but I do need get this car to the shop. It is leaking transmission fluid and I just need to drive it about 20 miles so I can fix it.

Is it ok to run this stuff just to get it to my dad's shop?

I don't want to do anything that will compromise the integrity of my transmission. I don't care if NAPA says it's ok to run this fluid, I care what Mercedes and Benz owners have to say.

What should I do? Is there something else I should run for these 20 miles instead?

Perfectly fine to use Valvoline ATF, actually a good idea on a leaky tranny, after its fixed you can use M-1 ATF.
