I'm so bummed, I can't even tell you. I just hit a deer going 50mph. The passenger side headlight is gone and the metal around is pushed back a bit. The bumper does not even have any dent in it but the hood is folded up. The car otherwise is just fine. No leaks, but I can't open the hood. It's too early here to call the insurance and when I called the cops they told me I can pick up a form for the insurance later since I could not find the deer anywhere.
I have some pictures attached.
Any idea what $$ I'm looking at here? I'm afraid with a book value of $3800 the insurance will total the car. If they do so, what is a fair price to buy it from the insurance?
The car was in top shape, no rust and a strong running engine and I'm not willing to give up on it.
