Hi,
I just purchased a 1982 240D. I live in Charlottesville, VA. Things I am looking to do:

-Replaced pads (possibly rotors)
-Fix dash lights that aren't working (don't know where to begin).

Can anyone advise/help me on either of these? I am not afraid of the mechanical work, just wondering if there are step by step directions somewhere I can reference. Also, are there any parts places to definitely stay away from? Thanks.

Lights, check fuses first. Then check bulbd and rheostat.
