wind shield Washer tank power hook ups ?
I replaced the rubber gaskets on my windshield washer tank on a 87 300d. It took a while to get the new gaskets and now I can not remember where the wires go. One line has two wires and one has three. Does the three wire one go to the head light washer, or the windshield? I was able to hook up the low level plug because it was a different shape.

WW Electrical Ports
PW,
On the '90 W124 : Purple (with stripe) and Brown and Brown go to the motor. Brown (with stripe) and Brown go to the sensor on top of the reservoir. (I do not have headlight washers.) I can't seem to find the schematic on the RU website. GSXR would know. |

Both of the pumps have two-wire plugs on my '87s, so does the low-fluid connection on top.
As was mentioned, plug them in, run the washers with the headlamps off, if the headlamps get the squirt instead of the windshield you've got them backwards.

Thanks for the help, I will give it a try.
I have never used the wipers before so I was not sure when or how they worked as far as when each get fluid. Next and last question: the pumps are different sizes and I assume the larger pump goes to the windshield. Is that correct?
