97 E300 Drivers Seat
Anyone know how to adjust or test the forward and rearwards limits on the drivers seat. Drivers seat on wifes 97 E300 will only go back so far everything else works fine. I cannot drive it as is it willnot go back far enough for me (she's 5'2" and I am 6')

Look for things (toy cars, roll of paper towels, empty Coke bottles... whatever) in the back seat floorboard or stuffed up under the seat that might be preventing movement.

If there is nothing obstructing the seat, then while standing outside the car, run the seat all the way forward and continue to hold the button for a few seconds.

I have looked under the seat it is clear I plan to look in the tracks one more time. I just hope when I run it forward and hold the switch it will at least come backto where she needs it to be

Yeah, there is a procedure for "re-syncing" the seats and windows in these cars in the owner's manual...check that out if you are having problems with the seats not adjusting right.
