Can you elaborate on this. Did Tempo sell their vans in Europe or are you saying MB used the engines in their vans? I thought MB didn't turbo their vans until they made the Sprinter. I'm interested because one of these days I want to purchase a motorhome in Europe again and if they have Class A's with turbo 616's, it's definitely something I'd look for.

As far as my information goes, the turbo OM616 was used on the 4xx class and Tempo Traveler and sold by MB in Europe, most possibly Eastern Europe. So if I were you, I would take a look there. Tempo Traveler has been sold world wide by MB including Asia and Africa. The regular Traveler sold with 80bhp OM617 n/a but they also made and sold versions with OM616 turbo, also with 4WD.
