Plugging Vacuum Hoses

If I do not have immediate access to production vacuum hose plugs, what is the best way to plug a vacuum hose. I currently have golf tees in them, but I do not feel good about leaving them in long-term.

Thanks,

Don

Golf tees are fine, they won't hurt anything.

Yep - X2. I've been running with golf tees for some time now. It's better than BB's, IMHO.

X3.
I was pissed when troubleshooting a weird vacuum issue in my climate control that a PO had put a bb in the line and it wasn't visible.

BB's are best. If you use a golf tee you can't hook the line back up and then it is loose and looks like you have lines disconnected everywhere.

Hmmm...great input. I think I will leave the tees and tape them to the hoses (lightly). If I have to re-hook anything, I will snip a little off to re-create the tight fit.

Thanks for the info!

On both of your sedans, you don't need to plug any vacuum lines. You simply remove the entire line and the vacuum T where the line terminates. You then connect the two open plastic lines with a short piece of vacuum hose.
