It's a hearse for cargo that isn't in a rush.

Ditto Ugh Biodiesel ready.

Ever seen an ad that is "Biodiesel UNREADY!?"

I'd contribute $100 if I could take it for a one-hour drive every year.

Now we only need 298 more people!

My dad inherited a rambler wagon from my great uncle when I was a kid, he drove it round for years. As I recall it had a push button auto tranny like the old chryslers.

I propose that MercedesShop purchases it for use as a hearse for all forum members. Put it in the rental program. Free for anyone who dies with more than 6k posts.

Dead on about the dash. Look close at the interior shot. It's of a different car, a fintail I think. Tail lights and paint color are different. My guess is a '66 230 Universal from Bellingham. Still an interesting ad.

You're right. The interior shot is of a Fintail.

I knew I saved the pics from an earlier ad. It was labeled a '74 220D at that time. This one I saved in September of '05, and it is exactly the same pic from the linked ad:

This was an additional shot from the front:

Something rotten is going on.......

You can see the Fintail tail light in their bottom pic:

Here is there first pic from the ad. Gee, kinda looks like the pic up top doesn't it.....

You know, that interior pic looks allot like a Puegot wagon that was for sale in Austin a year + ago.....
