Unhappy dieseling engine..

Just had my 300D about 2 weeks now and today was the first chance I had to get under the hood and look for vacuum leaks.... lucky for me because it has been cold here and my shut off problem has gotten a little worse. I still havent had to use the kill switch but my dieseling has gotten longer (from about 3 sec to about 30). I dont know how these vacuum lines are suppose to look, but mine is a bit of a maze, with random hoses comming out from the firewall (2 infact) that are not hooked up. I know the cruise control has been disabled, but it seems some othere things have been too. in essense. I ended up plugging the line that goes to the door locks (i think) just before the check valve and that seemed to get my dieseling time back down to 3 sec or so. Where else can i look? and at the risk of seeming too ignorant, icant seem to find the fuel shut off valve, or atleast a vacuum tube that runs to it. greatful for any advise!

btw - I ordered a monovalve repair kit that should be here mon. (praying for constant heat!!)

thanks all!

Brown vacuum line going down to the back of the IP between the IP and the oil filter housing.
