Here is John's website: http://www.tpsmercedes-benz.com/

He hardly has any parts listed on the site... so just call or email him and ask whatever you may need to.

Quite a few of these cars can be saved... and the others have plenty of parts to lend.

LOL! Most of my stuff runs... may not drive all the time, but runs. The 380SE is the one that's real bad (stupid purchase).

I've got some other assorted trash I'm attempting to trade off at the moment to just gain space. A neighbor wants to trade me an '89 300E for this '95 Mustang I have... for example.

W124s are super nice, but I really don't need another auto at the moment. I certainly don't need a W140, I have one... disguised as a BMW with a V12.

Yes, I've seen R107s, R129s, W140s, PILES of W124, PILES of W123, PILES of W126, etc in the yards. W126 are more common as they were made until 1991, W123s stopped in '85 here. Hell 124s got to the '95 MY too.

Look what I found,

1977 240D with euro headlights, maple yellow paint and a full tobacco interior that is in pretty good shape.

I pulled the headlights and few interior parts. If anyone needs anything let me know.

The dash has a few cracks and it would be okay for a daily driver but not if you want to make it look 100% new.

Here are some pics:

Junkyard Finds in Florida

The problem with Florida, as apart from the rest of the lower 48 is simple. People retire here, bring their cars and get new furniture. Then they die, leaving relatives from out of state to handle their affairs. Often-times, the executors/heirs are too intimidated by the old Mercedes, don't understand it, and scared by repair costs and simplify their lives and jobs by selling it off to the highest bidding junkyard, if they get anything at all. As for the furniture, it goes to the Salvation Army, oft-times also in perfect condition. So, if you know anyone who fits that description, please appeal to their dhildren t at least let you handle the sale through this site, instead of sending it to the boneyard, thereby removing a great vehicle from the driving pool.

I could pretty much use the entire interior and about 1/3 of the firewall.

LOL

That junkyard must not see many people if grass can grow!
That dash looks really nice, those small cracks can be patched.
