there use to be a lady about 10 yrs back that had a burgundy w116
sel with the wood wheel, might have been a Nardi.

she sold the car, and the next owner trashed it. haven`t seen it
for a long time.

The E-Bay prices seem way out of line.

The Nardi I was watching on ebay was running around $180 which seemed reasonable but I wasn't really in the mood for any frivolous purchases at the time.

No junk yards, I want to replace my slightly worn wheel with a new one, thats the idea. I'm trying to clean up the interior.

Given the dollar's performance lately, that's probably not too far off.

Hatterasguy 12-26-2007 09:41 PM

I was waiting for someone to pick up on that!:D

I wish I could get paid in Euro's, the dollar sucks.

My kids got me a zebranowood gear shifteer for the S350 for Father's Day. I think they bought it from Performance Products. It really looks good, matches the original in shape and size, and makes the whole interior look nicer than the leather one.

You can, just move to europe (probably not a bad idea anyway).

Me too, but I might eventually end up elsewhere, you never know.

You sound like my wife, she figures the kids won't be able to find us that way. Personally, I can't sail a sunfish without getting in trouble.

I grew up on the water.

I found the perfect boat to, 57 centerboard ketch, $399k with new decks and paint.

Very cool, I could probably live on that for a while.
