Any one near south central louisiana need a parts car

I have 3 parts cars to sell. 1 Forest green 1983 300d euroBody in good shape Trans worked good when I parked it for parts. Most all of the interior is gone. engine. trans. & drive IP are still there. All brakes are removed along with all front linkage and steering box.
2. Blue 1981 300d right rear damaged seats missing. some parts missing, radiator, condenser, shifter, 2 callipers. rust on 2 doors.
3. white 1980 300d dented left rear fender. It runs but no reverse. Check my recent post on this. All the missing parts from above are in this car. Good seats a/c is cool no heat.
If anyone is seriously interested send me a message. If anyone has a suggestion for a price please post your opinions. They will be appreciated. Post any questions you may have I'll get back with an answer.
I live close to Breaux Bridge off of I-10 RAY M I'll get some pics when I can. Request them if you like.

Well, some of us are looking for 300SDL parts....and your title didn't say what kind of cars you had.

Anyway...are you selling parts off any of these cars? Or just the whole cars?

Consider this

You're complaining about the poor response of 46 readers not rushing down to Cajun Country to pick up a non running already picked over old Benz. Man, you have to be kidding. Did you ever stop to think what that would cost to bring a vehicle like that from Cajun Country to any other region of the country. I brought one from Nashville to Indy last spring, (about 300 mies one way) and I know it cost me at least $500.00. Secondly, it seems like you will sell only the whole vehicle or what is left of it. List it in the parts section of the Forum and maybe you can sell them by the piece. I think that is your best bet.

not complaining. If you notice in the 2nd post i figured it was because i'm away from everything down here and It would probably be better to sell here in Louisiana. My post was to those in this area the title of the post states. I hoped to reach someone close by but obviously no one that viewed was. They just viewed and went on .
DAW_two, I didn't see to making my post title that lengthy.

Whickydan, Thanks for the info you gave me. I do appreciate those help full post that address the question at hand that I've gotten over the yrs..
Thanks Again RAY M
I have to sell the cars I don't have the time to pull parts. thanks for asking.

I might be interested in some parts from 'em. I'll be heading your way in three weeks. Otherwise, good luck.

Did they get the fire out? Wasn't that on/near I-10?

So what's the story behind these cars? What caused them to become parts cars? I could guess the blue one did because of the rear end damage.

Blue one is obvious> green 1983 300d euro ac didn't work and was aftermarket so no fixing, driverside rear wheel houseng etc got bashed outward as my son fell asleep and woke up intime to go in a ditch and hit a concrete drive. The 300,1980 white car doesn't go in reverse. See my past threads on it.

The white one doesn't look all that bad. I bet the white one could be made into an OK car if one one of the other's have a good tranny.

Absolutely and I could do it if I had the time. I think my summer project will be to remove all engine, trans, drive shaft and differential and sell as a whole or in parts, then disassemble every (every) thing else and sort and sell on ebay or to whom ever. I was reading rebuilts are not available for 123's any more from MB. I hear Engines many interior, door mech's upholstery etc are disapearing and not available. My 1st job will be to get my 1982 240 manual body work done so I can get it back on the road. That's my baby, Excellent shape. I wanted to part them now but no tome and it's cold now. I'll get back in time with pic's. Holler if you're desperate I'll Try if i've got time. Ray
