I am installing a trans vacuum modulator in the coupe.
There is a caution note attached to it saying it must be set up
(adjusted) prior to driving or trans and/or engine damage may
accure. I don't have a manual on on this. Can some one
help me out here. I checked the link on the "critical" thread
and again it he says it must be set up in accordance with the manual
but gives no other reference or #'s

You need to set the hydraulic pressure correctly:

Its not hard, takes a little work getting the gauge put together.
