Senior Programmer/Analyst for AIG Retirement. Woodworking is an all-consuming hobby which has lead to more outside-the-office projects than I care to number, or remember. I have to balance that addiction with my other obsession which is getting my 92 300SE to be a better car.

oops - just noticed this is the Diesel forum - hope my post is allowed...

I work on production printings systems, black & white and color. My company was sold and unemployment is looming....
I am also a gentleman chicken farmer: 2 roosters, 2 very nervous hens and about 10 eggs a week.....

**edit**
I think this thread fits perfectly within the community of folks we have going in Diesel Discussion {and a few random gassers}. It is mostly, but not all about nuts and bolts......{metric of course }

Man - we're really getting personal here, aren't we? What's next - pictures, sexual orientation and shoe size?

Structural (bridge) engineer

Full time student at ASU, majoring in Computer Science. Summer and whenever-the-heck-you-feel-like-working job as the IT guy at a small business run by my high school english teacher's husband... it's in partnership with a sister company (Same owner) so they just call the big branch for IT help when I'm not around.

Also a hobbyist photographer.

I have to jump into the mac vs pc debate as well... Go with the Mac. 100%. More stable, because the hardware and software were made to match each other instead of the PC platform, which is a mash-together of everybody's unique ideas - that rarely works.

My family are Windows devotees... I left them to their fate in the computer department years ago. I spend ten to one the time fixing theirs as fixing mine. And my Macbook Pro will outwork the family PC which is quite a bit newer.

Win 98 BSOD at introduction by Gates: http://youtube.com/watch?v=TGLhuF3L48U

Is Vista a rip-off of OS X? You decide:

EDIT: Yes, I know Linux is another option too. I use it at work. I'm a big proponent of open-source... but I don't see it as... simple enough - to replace home users desktops yet. Too difficult to install things for the computer barely-literate.

Paramedic-I retired Fire/rescue after 20+yrs and moved to the coast to be a RN. But.. Got sucked back into EMS (great $$ and great hours). I also teach @ the collage 1-2 day I week. I have a side business Buffing and Polishing and I hope I can expand into auto and tool restoration this summer.
