I just changed trany oil on 2 diesels,i am wandering when i recheck the level do i insert the dipstick with the lines facind the firewall or the radiator,since i just filled it it seems to me the radiator or front side gets a higher reading due to the curve and theres more residual oil in that side,because i consistently get it too high on the front of the car side and a tad bit low on the firewal side.'I drained tc and have added 6.5 q atf.
