Had a new turbo downpipe installed. Muffler shop welded it to the existing system. Heat from the welding dislodged a bunch of carbon and since the car had not had enough exhaust velocity due to the leak, the entire exhaust was full of carbon particles. At the first stop light, a white ford pickup was in a real hurry and honked at me as I was not accelerating fast enough for him (this is Dallas....aka the Texas autobahn). So I stomped the pedal to get out of his way and ala. : the largest smoke screen I've ever seen. The pickup seemed to have turned his lights on dim, but no, it was the smoke screen. He just sat there. Bet it will be a while before he honks at another diesel car

LOVE IT! I had the same thing happen when I ranover something in the road and it whacked the center mufflers. Next time I hit the pedal it was like an old WWII movie where a destroyer was laying down a smoke screen.
