99 e300d pre-purchase advice

Hi folks,

I'm a long term lurker, and I've been reading voraciously about the 96-99 e300d's. Lots of great info here and I'm ready to take the plunge.

I have a car that I'm considering. It's a 99 with 259 k kms (160k miles). black on black. He's asking 16.5, which is about average up here in Canada.

-The battery is new
-Glow plugs all new in 2005
-fuel lines from shutoff to filter new last year
-front spring perches done 2 years ago
-comes with winter + summer tires on rims
-3rd owner, dealer maintained since new with complete records

The price seems "about" right, I hope to knock it down a little. It's 1000 kms away, but I'm sending someone by to look at it tomorrow before I have it inspected by an independant Mercedes shop next week.

Is there anything in particular I should have them look for?
