'84 300d vacuum problems....

hello everyone, i'm new here, but i've found myself searching high and low on mercedes forums over the past week or two trying to get my vacuum issues resolved with my newly acquired '84 300d. it started with the car not dying when the key was in the off position, but it didn't happen every time, and from there it moved into the brakes becoming increasingly harder to press and being a rookie owner i simply bought a new vacuum pump and thought my problems would be fixed. well they weren't.

so based on the suggestions of others, i've check all my connections under the hood and found that one of the connectors has small holes at the joints and another connector is pretty loose. so i've got the new rubber parts ordered to re-run the lines under the hood along with replacing the dashpot and the check valve.

the only problem is that apparently the previous owner attempted some vac line fixes under the hood and didn't replace them correctly or the pictures that i've been looking at are off. i was wondering if anyone has a diagram of the rubber vacuum lines under the hood. if not, does anyone have the ability to sketch a diagram? i'd greatly appreciate it and so would my car.

thanx,
trey
