Dang alarm system how to disable

Howdy,

When it rains the alarm gets fickle and will set itself.

Well today it set itself and would not respond to being turned off.

I pulled the fuse.

To save time, where do I disconnect the horn, up by the cowl, or which wire to cut?

Thanx

On the SDL? If it's a factory alarm, you should disconnect the alarm control module. Under front part of the passenger side carpet.

Looks like this --

Thank you

Had the same problem; alarm went off when raining. How
embarrassing (especially in Atlanta traffic).

Thank you so much for the help.

The alarm module from my 300CD has been in the parts bin so long, I forgot what it looked like until I saw the picture. I took it out around 10 years ago.

To quote Brain Carlton, if I remember correctly -- "Help is what we do here."

I've had a lot of people help me here as I've learned about my cars -- glad to be able to share some of what I've been shown.
