i did not, I removed the connector and I get plenty of heat so I assumed it was functioning. I have a rebuild kit coming in the mail but if the valve is always getting 12V I dont think it will make any difference. The gold changeover valve was really hot and so was the ccu when I removed it so something doesnt seem right. I am going to pull the amp out tonight and see if it has some loose solder joints.
