The bolts that hold the shocks on
So I spent the weekend driving around Mexico with 4 friends in my 82 240D. Let's just say it was some rough roads. The bolts that hold the shocks to the bottom rear of the car were both somewhat stripped (I just changed the shocks a few months ago) and the last remaining one on the passenger side popped out.
Does anyone know how I get those bolts? Do I have to order them or can I buy something equivalent at a hardware store? Fastlane doesn't seem to carry them, as far as I could tell. Thanks!

Home Depot has some metric bolts avaiable hopefully one of the other members can give you the size and of course the dealer should have them.
You said that the bolts were striped did they have nuts on the other end or were do they threaded into the control arm. If they thread into the control arm you need to take a good look at the threads there as they could be rusted out or striped also.
