Water leak in floor 1985 300d

I suddenly have a water leak in the floor of my 1985 300d. It has a sun roof but I can't find any water stains or signs of water in the roof of the car. It also has no rust or holes in the floor.
The water only appears in the foot well of the drivers side passenger seat. It is enough water to completely soak the carpet.
Help! I can't find where it is coming from.
