Question 603 valve cover removal steps 1987 300D

I removed the 10mm hex bolts off of my 603 engine valve cover, but the valve cover won't budge. Should I try prying it with a large blade under the gasket? Any Ideas?
Thanks,

did you remove the cross over tube?

don't pry anything

Check along the entire perimeter for any missed bolts. Plus if you did get them all just give it a tap with a hammer( put a block of wood on the face first!) and then it should unseat it self( last resort reallt as it should just pull up and off)

Tap it with a rubber hammer it will pop free. If you pry it with something be carefull not to mark up the mating surface.
