Re-plating engine compartment components

Hey All,

I have a perfect 240D and 300CDT. Both are trophy winners. The engine compartments bother me. The zinc/cadmium plate has worn off allot of trim and brackets. I recently found a web site that sells kits and everything else needed to re-plate metal.

So here is my question: Anyone out there have a picture of brand spanky new 4 or 5 cylinder diesel engine? I will use that to indicate which pieces to re-plate.

By the way this web site: http://www.caswellplating.com also carries anodizing equipment. This may be useful on our aluminum trim.

Thanks very much,

Zill.
