So I've heard. I went through this thought process for my own SLS. I am very happy that I decided to repair it. I ended up spending under $500 and it's great.
Since finishing the repairs, I decided I'm going to need to replace the coil springs too (sits a little too low). I found a pair of new ones from a forum member for $95 shipped. Now I just have to get my hands on a spring compressor.
