This is starting to remind me of an oil thread. Do a search, it has been discussed many times here. General consesus.........waste of money.

Save your money. By using that kit you will loose the cold air intake. Also K&N filters don't filter all that well. Your stock filter should breath just fine for your car if you keep it clean. If your worried about the stock air filter being restrictive try putting another filter in parallel to it some how.

WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT ME?

Stay with the stock setup unless you plan on doing some major work;

it is the beginning of a good setup, With some massaging, and the deletion of the aux coolant pump, you can fit a larger cylindrical stock paper filter from some american v-8 diesel with more than adequate flow and filtration Regarding the 'cold air intake', the intake scoop above the headlight can still be used in that capacity.

I don't know why this system uses a catch can, theres no reason for it, the top hose from the oil separater should be plugged somewhere into the into the "huge chrome plated aluminum intake tube" ... after disabling the EGR of course.

Dunno 'bout the color scheme, but I like the look... note that he has wrapped the turbo.

I have a similar one to the auction under my air/water IC. No room for the stock one. You can make one for lots less with a generic honduh "cold air intake" from Schucks.

That is NOT a performance intake. It is a hot air intake with a filter that is too small and does not filter well.

It won't increase your performance at all, it will only make it louder.

If you are looking for more power, why don't you just get rid of the EGR and put some fuel to it.

You can play all you want, but unless you add fuel to the fire you aren't going to get any more power out of that thing.

To make power you need BTUs, to get more BTUs you need more fuel, to get more fuel you have to take that little cover off the back of the governor and make the rack go farther forward.
