Mercedes horn troubleshooting pictorial

Hi all,

I just finished up the pictorial on how to troubleshoot your horn system on your W123.

http://dieselgiant.com/mercedes%20horn%20troubleshooting.htm

Get out there and blow your horn!

Enjoy.

Great as usual.

Just a suggestion: Before going through the hassle of removing the steering wheel for voltage at the two strip contacts behind the steering wheel, I might suggest checking for voltage first at the combo switch. If no voltage there then there is really no reason to pull the steering wheel.
Would have saved a bit of work in your situation. You wouldn't have know about the loose contact strip, but that is probably a rarity.....
Nice job!

awesome... one of my factory horns seems to not work.. it has to be in the wiring since I swapped in some S-Class horns and one was still not working

Also, the header reads, "Mercedes Injection Pump o ring"

Nice work as always, I might have to come out and visit again sometime when the new engine is in.
