Disgusting smilies aside, I kind of like the lawn mower idea. I've always wanted to keep a goat or two around the place. We've actually got room, just no fence.

We have a herd of goats and cows to keep the grass down. You have to keep a watch on the goats as they like to jump on cars. One of our billys got into the compound and jumped on my brother in laws XJ12 convertible top, went right through it, that was a costly bar-be-que.

On the plus side, goats love tangles like honeysuckle (I grew up in SE PA, which is overrun with it), and think poison ivy is candy -- easier than spraying it ...

oh, sure, put a goat in a field of nothing but kudzu, and it will eat it, but it will look for everything else first. for some reason, animals shy away from kudzu...
