Leak by glow pulgs-300SD with 313,000 miles.

Was wondering what the diesel smell was coming from since i just did both of my fuel filters and haven't had a drop yet. Finally stated to look 'closely' at the tubes, next to the glow plugs, and i have a few leaks located there. Some are wet and some are really wet. Didn't see a thread specifically to see how to fix or what to do. Anyone know?

thanks, rick

Real easy job, the hardest part of which is to find the 'braided' fuel line. Make sure and get the right replacement line. I've ordered it before only to get pure rubber.

Once you get it, cut the old stuff off....careful around the nipples (I cut with a sharp knife and slice it). Once cut, you can peel it off.

Cut to size and replace.

Remember to leave enough line so that your can take the valve cover off (need a little wiggle room)

Yes be sure to get the correct lines, try the buy parts button above. I buy a couple of meters, and cut to length. There is a web site that will sell you all already cut, but save your money.
Be careful when removing the old ones, try not to nick the metal nipples.
