whats the diameter of the lower radiator hose on a 617? Im looking for a lower radiator hose heater for a buddy and theres one on ebay but its for a 1.5 inch hose, not sure if thats the correct size. I dont want to open up the cooling system on one of mine just to look

I just measured my extra thermostat housing pipe that leads to the lower hose and it measures out to 1 3/8 inch. Not sure if that 1.5 inch hose will work.

The circumference of 1.375" is 4.32" and 1.5" is 4.71" so there's only about .4" slack. It should be fine with a good hose clamp.
