Hi all. New to this forum, but a "veteran" of various diesel MBZ forums on the internet for many years.

I ordered and received ykobayashi's tach amp for my 83 300d. Not only did this bring my fluttering tach back to life, but he was SUPER helpful in additional troubleshooting to ensure the tach was working. Main fix was slightly crimping the end of pins 3,7 and 9 to give a tighter connection to the old and loose sockets.

Highly recommend his tach amp, and when you get to deal with somebody as nice and helpful as he is, that's an added bonus.

All I need to get my car back to perfection is a REALLY good rear view mirror without clouding...if any of you folks have a lead on one, I'd greatly appreciate it.
