If you cannot find the proper thread you will need to buy what manual is needed to fix the roof or pay some one else to do it.
In the mean time a good quality Duct Tape might prevent your expensive interior from getting ruined.

Just pop off the sunroof panel and push the up on the front of it and close it with your hands. I have my headliner stripped out and removed the sunroof motor and cable (stripped motor gear) and just open and close the sunroof myself. Its temporary but it works. My guess is that if the nut in the trunk wont open or close the sunroof you have a stripped gear too.

look at the manual, there is a an adjustment that sets the travel limit.
There is also a clutch on the transmission, if loose, the cable can slip. The nut is just a last resort to open/close the sunroof. Have you tried tapping the tilt feature? Push up momentarily on the sunroof switch and see if that will close it. Jim

Tilt function does nothing...
![]() My sunroof is stuck right before it goes up to close. So technically it's still open, because it's still down and open... right??? What should I try and do here??? |
