Question Who's bought new floor mats?

Im looking at the genuine ones in the Performance Products catalog:
http://www.performanceproducts4benz.com/productpage.aspx?cid=2&sid=517&pid=102786

$100 bucks, not too bad. My mats are toast!

I have pile carpets, will the velour mats look bad? Can I get pile mats anywhere?

What have others liked?

dd

Here's where I was going to buy mine from:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBTOX%3AIT&viewitem=&item=300114381072&_trksid=p3984.cTODAY.m238.lVI

I think I'll go with Performance Products and add some other stuff to justify shipping costs.

I haven't seen pile mats anywhere. I know these will look MUCH better than what I've got.

I had a set similar to those in my truck. I thought they were great, but I never thought about using them in my wagon. I guess I didn't realize you could get them in a tan color. This kind is definitely easier to keep clean and they don't wear out like carpet.

Yeah I saw that, than I went off to the local dealer and paid $90 for them.

If you want the all weather floor matts that MB sells get a set for a W220, supposidly they fit in a W126.

I've got the Performance Products MB mats and they are excellent. I got the version without the leather heel pad (heavier nap in that area).

How are these doing for you. the Mercedes mats always slide to the front and get a permanent crease in them where the floor turns up. With all the Mercedes I have owned I have never resolved this. I have this kind of floor mat in the new Honda and really like them. They don't move at all. but Honda has a lock at the rear of the mat so of course it won't move.

Dave,

When you bought the mats did they include those metal stays called Matloks?

Another reason they move is that the carpet under the floor mat is not snapped into the chassis. Those snaps are located under the front part of the seat.

Yea, I've got the tan ones, they match the tan interior pretty well. I thought I heard that the wagons originally had black rubber ones similar to these.

Dave
They don't budge
And they're easy to take out, hose off, and they go right back in place pretty easy. I mainly got them for the winter when I'd have snow and ice on my shoes, the mats contain the water pretty well.
