Help Identifying coolant hose

I checked all my hoses today and this one is by far the most brittle. I'd like to replace it. What the heck is it called??

That's a refrigerant hose, not a coolant hose. If it's just stiff and not leaking, I would leave it alone.

A/C lines tend to be stiff, due to the plys and re-enforcement of the rubber. If they are cracked or leaking, then it's time to replace them.

if you are loosing coolant, look under the fitting on that line, beneath the water neck, it is a 2" piece of hose, and it's very hard to get to.
