Rebuild tranny shop in Austin TX

It's time to have my tranny rebuilt on my 87 300SDL. I was hoping it just needed new fluid and a filter, or just to have the vacuum reworked. But all the vacuum works out. So I'm left with rebuilding her so she will shift right. She shifts hard in every gear, and when I first put her in drive or reverse she waits for a couple of seconds and then jumps into gear.

So does anyone in the Austin TX area, know of a good shop to drop my car off at?

Any help would be great.

I haven't used them for any tranny work, but Ben's Workshop on Pressler at 5th has done quite a bit of work on my '98 E300. They seem to put everything back together correctly, but I've had to push out my retirement date a few years - not cheap.

What I mean is, if it acts the sane with the vacuum modulator discinnected, thjen your problem might be with the modulator, which if bad, will give you tje problems you described.
