Size usually wins. When my buddy got t-boned in his '27 Rolls P1... well lets just say his car drove home just fine, unlike the little Ford.

Crashes
The Smart car survives the "Head On", but you would not!...No room For
"Crumple Zones". I've decided my next accident will have me in a 14 wheel dump truck 1/2 loaded with gravel.I will walk away. Only seen one fatal dump truck accident...Guy suffering a heart attack ran into a draw bridge on the way up at 55 MPH. 'Took them months to fix the bridge.

Good point, and especially at highway speeds as demonstrated in this clip: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ju6t-yyoU8s but that can be expected of most of the bread box sized cars on the road, remember they are bought for fuel economy, not super safety.

Bigger is not necessary "safer" but personally, in an accident I would rather be in a dodge ram than a smart car!

If you're talking about an accident between a Dodge Ram and a Smart car, yes I'd rather be in the Ram. But if hitting a tree or wall, I'd rather be in the Smart. The Ram would crush you like a garlic press.

That's probably the only time I would want to be in a dodge ram (or any other truck).

The definitive proof bigger is safer
Also notice that the one time a cop is around when someone needs them they can't do anything to stop the drunk driver.
