injector nozzels

Does anybody know what the difference is between a 261 nozzel and a 265 and which would be better for the 617 turbo.

Thanks

They are basically the same. 265 is what to use though.

What goal did you have in mind by using either 261 or 265 Injector Nozzles.
If stock performance is the goal the Monark Nozzles I got from Sean C Watts were made in Germany were economical and are in my car rignt now dooing a good job.

No real goal, I have 4 good bosios which are 261, I took them out last year because one of them went bad, undecided as to which would be the best way to go, 5 new monarks or buy 1 more bosio.

Thanks

One Bosio would be cheaper and allow you to get some use out of the other 4.
What are you using in your car now?

What I have in the car now is a set of French Bosch nozzels with about 70k on them. I had tried the Bosios to see if there was any difference but the one failed so I put back the Bosch. Only problem with the Bosch is that they are 240 and I was looking to better my idle and eek out maybe some more mpg. Also the Bosch nozzels where over heated when I had taken them across country and the timing was very retated, the nozzel bodies have a blueish ting on them , so I figure the may not last that long. I would like to know if the 261 bosios perform like the 265 monarks.

Thanks
Peter

The main claim

from MB is emissions improvement. Some people who drove with both of them in the same engine say better running with the 265.
